Well this is history making but the work has just started. We'll see President Obama start tomorrow in fixing the mass problems Bush has left us. I can see the World Leaders starting to work with President Obama and Vice President Biden. This election win was for all people not just black people. I really haven't seen so many people of all colors join in to celebrate with such love and caring for each other.
There are those in Kansas that refuse to drink the red kool-aid. It was awesome voting with my first time voter daughter and niece yesterday. I told them about the JFK bust (and Lincoln plates) their Great-Grandmother displayed and how my Mother was a staunch Democrat and always believed in change. Even my Republican father voted for Obama. It was a wonderful, proud day.

And the Democrats will remain the majority in the house and Senate.
There is going to be a lot of shakeup in Illinois, lot of movement of politicians to DC and ones filling their positions.

Glad you family got out and vote for Obama, Teak. I am sorry that your state voted for McCain. As Barack said that he is Kansas' President too.
