Singer Annie Lennox- Why

On Sunday, I watched the 2 hour show of 24: Redemption with Jack Bauer and I caught my favorite Scottish artist Anne Lennox received a lifetime achievement award on American Music Award (that is the only thing I was interested in). Here is one of her rememberable live performance at the Arista 25th Anniversary celebration in 2007. The song is called Why. She sang the same song on the AMA on Sunday (I missed 2/3 of her performance):

I missed Annie but caught Jack.
Annie is the best and will go on for generations with her music. She is a treasure who's is priceless.

Jack is back. I just hope the new Administration doesn't confuse this show like the Homeland Security does. The story line is interesting as the US really does supply weapons and money to terrorist just to keep conflict going and with luck the terrorist will win and be on the US side. At lease that what Bush/Cheney think anyway. Right now African terrorist are supported by the US Govenment but all that will be releaed when Bush/Cheney are out of office. The writers of 24 do understand the World better then the CIA/FBI and Homeland Security. On a positive note the Obama/Biden appointees are well educated in the culture and laws of the Foreign countries so things should get better.
24 will be blown away when they see the report of the people held in Gitmo when their released. 5 professional men were tortured so much their now insane but we learned the US knew 7 years ago these men were innocent but wouldn't release them. We'll learn that the US had held children and tortured them too. Others have been tortured, raped and some murdered while being held in Gitmo. Even 24 can't bet that.

Annie knows how to sing. What the hell happened with music? Someone like Annie makes people like Britney look even more like total airhead sluts.

Britney is not even close to an icon like Annie Lennox. Her music will laster forever. Britney is now washed up and might end up singing at some dive off of the Vegas strip at an all-you-can-eat $2.00 buffet.
