Vice President Dick Cheney made a rare appearance on the campaign trail today in Wyoming. During a speech, he offered a wholehearted endorsement of John McCain and Sarah Palin:
CHENEY: I believe the right leader for this moment in history is Senator John McCain. […] I’m delighted to support John McCain and I’m pleased that he’s chosen a running mate with executive talent, toughness and common sense, our next vice president in Sarah Palin.
Here is Obama's reaction:
Obama: “I’d like to congratulate Sen. McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn’t come easy. Sen. McCain had to vote 90% of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get his support.”

So much for supporting a relative. Now one might think the White House wants McCain/Palin to lose this race. McCain has spent two weeks saying he will not continue Bush's policies and even called them wrong. Only to have Dick the Evil come out two days before the Election and endorse McCain and even saying Palin would be a great VP. It's a real eye opener for the Voters who thought McCain was going to change things only to learn again he lied.
