What it takes to win

From the Obama website:

From the beginning of this election, first in the primary and now in the general election, we made a commitment to compete everywhere, to expand the electoral map, and to challenge the notions of what a "red state" or a "blue state" is. Campaign Manager David Plouffe told MSNBC:

“Our strategy all along has been to expand the playing field. People thought we were crazy, but it is paying off.”

As National Field Director Jon Carson said earlier Wednesday in a message to supporters, "I can tell you right now who's going to win this election -- the campaign that steps up its ground game in the final days."

In the McCain campaign, the camp believes that they will win Pennsylvania: McCain's path to victory through Pa.

Ground game ya say? What do you all make of this very real email being sent to Ohio GOPer's? The fools name I removed, it was odd because there was no graphic-just a regular email...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I know that many of you may be ready for this election process to be over. I also know that many of you are still avid about having John McCain as our next president or at least avid about NOT having Barak Obama as our next president. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats are running a tough campaign. The only way we are going to beat them is on the ground and in our grassroots efforts. This is a fact of life.

Our campaign is in critical need of people that can volunteer their time to help us in mail houses around Franklin County. This is not of only countywide importance but of statewide importance. Franklin County is the only county with this responsibility. If we do not have enough volunteers to be present and observe and handle this mail (this work is not hard labor) the presses will stop and some of the messages that our base has been craving will not get out in these last 15 days.

This operation is a 24 hour a day operation and we are looking for volunteers to help us fill shift both during the day and OVERNIGHT. Obviously our 8 pm to Midnight and Midnight to 8 am shift is the toughest to fill. We need help with this ASAP.

I cannot disclose the exact content of the materials that are being produced except only to those who can volunteer to help us in this crucial project.

Please come out and help us pull this thing off.

Interesting email from the Ohio GOP Party, Anon.

It sounds to me that the GOP are running on empty on ideas to win the election. I had posted an email from a reader that received an email from a group that called themselves: Democrats for McCain. The way that this race is going, Obama-Biden team have a large amount of momenteum in this race.

Check back again on the blog if you see anything suspicious in email or in the state of Ohio. Much appreciated.
