Vito's political career is finito.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Representative Vito J. Fossella, a Staten Island Republican, was found guilty on Friday of a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped on an Alexandria road early one morning last spring.

The decision, by a judge in Alexandria District Court, was the latest chapter in a scandal that began with his arrest in May, led to an admission that he had fathered a child in an extramarital affair, and eventually forced him to abandon his re-election bid. That decision gave New York Democrats a prime opportunity to pick up a Congressional seat that has been safely in Republican hands for decades.

Neither Mr. Fossella’s wife, Mary Pat Fossella, nor his mistress, Laura Fay, were in the courtroom.

That is also how Obama got control of the GOP senate seat in Illinois, his GOP opponent was caught up in a sex scandal (his name was Jack Ryan) and when that broke loose, they improted Alan Keyes the GOP nut job from out of state because we were fresh out of any type of GOP contendors.

Not that McCain did not leave his first wife while down and out with his small children for someone much younger, not that McCain did not have questionable relations with a lobyist.

But at least Obama is not running against someone who wears lipstick (Ginger, aka Rudia)_ because he/she has had a whole lot of questionable activities, too many to blog as a comment.

So many sex cases with Law Makers. I guess having affairs and prositutes isn't really as bad Mark Foley. But I notice there doesn't seen to be a problem or not out cry about Law Makers or even men who abuse/molest/approach children for sex. Who will fight for the children?
