McCains would have received $55,000 a year from his capital gains tax cut proposal.
Thinkprogress:
Last week, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) proposed temporarily cutting the capital gains tax from 15 percent to 7.5 percent. On Friday, the McCain campaign released Cindy McCain’s 2007 tax returns, which show that the McCains made $746,395 in capitals gains last year. A new analysis by Michael Ettlinger, Vice President for Economic Policy at the Center for American Progress Action Fund, reveals that McCain’s capital gains cut would have reduced the McCains’ taxes by $55,980 in 2007. This is on top of the more than $350,000 that the McCains would have saved due to the Senator’s other tax proposals

Everyone knows McCain knows nothing about Economics as he said himself. So his plan was made out by the Republicans who are currently stealing. Look McCain and Cindy do much better and keep more. All those who are currently robbing the taxpayers blind will contiue to do so and even get more money under the McCain/Palin plan. McCain thinks people are stupid and don't know any better even speaking of Joe the Plummer who got tricked. Look if people don't know they will believe anything as McCain has seen for the pass 7 years. Ameerican watched and listen to GW the idiot and brought every lie and trick he's told. Even today the plan works so well Bush has sent Bennie out to offer taxpayers a little of their own money while he will only do that if Congress gives another 800 billion to the bailout for CEO's and Goldman Sachs. No body believe Paulson's lie anymore so they pushed Bennie out in the front.
