Presidential candidates are stumping hard in battleground states like Nevada. President Bill Clinton addressed a rally at a local high school. Channel Eight Eyewitness News was at Chaparral High School when Clinton took the stage with a stride and a smile alongside Senator Harry Reid.
The former president made the case for electing Obama took some shots at rival John McCain's policies. The two are in the final stretch in the race to the White House. Voters say having a respected former president like Bill Clinton rallying for Obama will help change the Silver State from red to a blue this year.
There are about two-and-a-half weeks until election day and the presidential candidates are doing all they can to win over those last minute undecided voters; including sending out their foot solders to stump on the campaign trail on their behalf.
Here is what president Clinton had to say about Senator Obama. "Our plan is better... On economy Barack Obama should be our next president of the United States".
Cindy Burris, a first time voter reacted to Clinton's speech this way, "I think he was a wonderful president and he is on the democratic side so let people know we have to get a democrat in there and I think Obama is absolutely wonderful."
Obama supporter Edward Barbee says bringing Bill Clinton into the campaign is a boost, "I think its important because the more we get in Barack's corner the better and Mr. Clinton carries a lot of weight."

I love brother Bill and he's enjoy his rallies because he loves to talk and really knows what he's talking about.
Gore and Kerry listened to some Democrats who don't like the Clintions and left them out of their campaign. Obama was and is a wise leader he knew his fellow Democrats like Dean, Kerry, Pelosi, Reid and other advised him not to include Bill. But Bill Clinton is on only the most popular President but he's the most trusted by the people. Look I know he's not perfect but who is? Bill Clinton made life great for millions of Americans who got to live some of that American Dream for the 8 years he was in office. He made the US respected and loved around the World like the days of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. One only need to think back to the good days of many jobs, bonuses, vacations and even savings accounts for adults and kids. Yes Peaches had a savings account too. Life was good and the future looked bright until along came Bush/Cheney. So for those who dislike Clinton but benefitted from his policies I say you deserve what you see today. For those who don't judge but respect the job he did in balancing the US budget and making your lives much better I say vote Obama as Clinton will always be around to help the Obama/Biden team. For the Law Makers who attack Bill/Hillary I say build a bridge and get over it, we Americans need him more then he needs us. What has Daddy Bush done for you lately or ever.
