A tanning bed in the Governor's mansion?

TPM:

Read it all here. Al Giordano and Bill Conroy did some investigative reporting and found that, “The governor did have a tanning bed put in the Governor’s Mansion,”Roger Wetherell, chief communications officer of Alaska’s Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, confirmed to this newspaper. “It was done shortly after she took office [in early 2007] and moved intothe mansion.”
Update:
Bill McCallister, Palin's press secretary in the governor's office in Alaska, confirmed to TPMmuckraker that a tanning bed had been installed in the governor's official residence, but it wasn't paid for with state funds.
"She paid for it herself," McCallister told TPMmuckraker. "It was surplus from a local athletic club."

She's a Mom and she is a governor, but she has time to tan? Self absorbed woman is what that amounts to.
