A claim: Palin called Obama a racial slur.

Caution: I found this article on Raw Story. And this claim is by an Alaskan whose last name was shield. This is just a claim. So, we are unsure if Palin said a racial slur about Obama or not. But, the claim needs to be probed and questioned. If Palin did indeed made a racial slur of Obama, the McCain-Palin campaign is in serious trouble and have crossed the line as racism will plague their campaign and may cost them November election. If this is not true, then McCain-Palin camp need to come out and ask for the journalists who wrote this for a retraction and apology. So, judge the article for yourself.

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.

“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being discovered telling folks in the “lower 48” about life near the North Pole.

Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”

Racial and ethnic slurs may be “just Alaska” and, clearly, they are common, everyday chatter for Palin.
Read on.

If Palin said it, she is a racist and a sexist.
She calls Hillary a whiner but then she herself will not give interviews to the press after lashing out to them. Palin is the one that put her family on the center stage. Her rigid views on life left her open to criticisms. She takes advantage of her own children but yet, expects people not question her actions as a mother.
If she called Obama that name, she should be called on it. A racist is a racist. There is that tape where she laughed and laughed where the talk show hosts called a cancer survivor "cancer" and "bitch"...Palin thought it was hilarious. That alone makes me think it is true.

There is nothing funny about cancer.

Even folks here who joked about Tony Snow and called him Crissy Snow backed way, way off after he got sick.

Palin's right-wing nutjob views are just about the same if not the same as Horseface Coulter.

(If Horseface Coulter gets cancer, I will put it under consideration not to call her Horseface Coulter anymore).

Anon and Mr. Kitty:

Great comments. McCain may be trying to hide Ms. Tiara Palin from the media and scrub as much of her graft in Alaska. But, the more that Palin is put in the forefront as the rock star and overshadow Grampa McSame, the real Sarah Palin will come out. What is interesting out of all of this is that Palin and McCain has been the main people out the gate yet notice that Biden, Obama, Ms. Biden, Ms. Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other Democratic reps. are going their separate ways to campaign for the Obama-Biden ticket.

The media is simply falling asleep on this Presidential race. Finally, McCain is really hurt Palin by not have her on talk shows. I think that rock star hype will wear off down the road whrn people start wanting answers to thier issues.

McSame may already have some regrets.

I saw a short clip on the news and she was getting all the attention yet he was off in the shadows, looking green with envy.

That's got to smack his ego. ;-)

He's not the center of the attention.

"He's not the center of the attention."

Yup, too little, too late for Grampa. What is funny is that McCain and Palin sre two people who want to be the center of attention: Ms. Congeniality and the Maverick. Watch McCain become a loose cannon when someone mentions Palin-McCain ticket or Palin for President.
