Former New York Governor, Eliot Spitzer's newly released campaign filings are raising questions about the former governor's campaign money being linked to a prostitution scandal.

The New York Times reports Spitzer's campaign finance records show two payments to the Mayflower Hotel. That is where Spitzer is accused of meeting a prostitute in the Emperor's VIP Club. Two payments of about $400 in January showed up on the report. Federal Prosecutors are looking into whether Spitzer misused campaign money to pay from prostitutes. The answers will be a factor in determining if the former governor will face criminal charges.

A spokesman for Spitzer insists all campaign expenses are legitimate.

Today is August 15, 2008. Notice that you hear no criminal charges as of yet for Spitzer. All the Feds have on Spitzer were two payments of 400 bucks? Memo to Feds: The price of Spitzer's tryst with Ashley Dupre was around $4300.00! Are you going to argue that Emperor VIP Club had established a payment plan for Spitzer??? I smell a civil lawsuit in the future from the Spitzers.

Spitzer will see FBI Mueller again apologize for this mistake but I hope Spitzer digs in and gets those who were responsible and have them put in jail. The first person to go to jail should be FBI Director Mueller.
