Beijing games; Open thread.
Awesome opening ceremony at Beijing. Look forward to the olympic games. Also, I added a widget on the left hand side where you can track the medals and countries that win.
I just heard about commedian and actor, Bernie Mac, passing away. Very sad. I always like him as a commedian. I watched on some occasions The Bernic Mac show. But, the last movie that I saw him in was the dark comedy and hilarious movie "Bad Santa." He will be truly missed.

A sad day in Chicago and throughout TV land . . . Bernie Mac dies of pneumonia at the age of just 50.
Yes, he was a South Sider as well. The neglected part of the city, but where all the real people come from.

I enjoyed th opening of the games it was great.
I will miss Bernie but this is a lesson to us all love life and enjoy because we just never know what tomorrow will bring.
