Obamania in Europe: “People of Berlin. People of the world. This is our moment. This is our time.”

Awesome!

Crooks and Liars:

Senator Obama delivered a soaring speech in Berlin before an estimated crowd of over 100,000 200,000 in which he called for a renewed trans-Atlantic — indeed, trans-global — alliance to fight the common threats we all face. Appealing the ideals America was founded on and has tried to promote since it’s inception, Senator Obama stated that whether it’s terrorism and global warming, or genocide and disease, there is no problem we cannot overcome nor enemy we cannot defeat when we are united in common purpose.

“People of Berlin - and people of the world - the scale of our challenge is great. The road ahead will be long. But I come before you to say that we are heirs to a struggle for freedom. We are a people of improbable hope. With an eye toward the future, with resolve in our hearts, let us remember this history, and answer our destiny, and remake the world once again.”

UPDATE II: Wow. It looks like US Foreign Service personnel were banned from the speech. And not by Senator Obama.

It was amazing to see not only over 200,000 people but flags and cheers for the United States of America. It look so much like the Clinton years. For the past 7 years countries have burned the pictures of the US President and US flags when Bush came for a visit. Some countries had to pay people to welcome Bush. But Obama did the US proud. What's sad is the US is still so caught up in racism and hate some Americans would rather lose the USA then vote for a President who can get this country out of this mess. Why because of his color.

I always believed God does things man couldn't. Obama is just what this country represents. He lived, learned and is educated as a white person. Yes born with the American Dream at his feet. His Mother and Grandparents raised him in white America. Yes his Dad was from Africa. But unlike blacks in America Obama knows his family line in Africa. Pure white/black without the history of family being slaves of the USA. Whites would be clearly represented with Obama and Blacks would have representation too. All American Black leaders have family history of the US struggle of our history, but Obama doesn't he has to learn.
Well it's up to Americans either put Obama in office to clean up the mess or but McCain in and stay the Bush course and bring down the USA.
