Issa: The new inductee in the Hall of Shame.

I had posted yesterday Issa's hall of shame acts on politicizing on Tim Russert's death. There is more to add to Issa's nomination:

Crooks and Liars:

As abominable as Issa’s performance today was, it hardly ranks as his worst. From attacking the families of dead Blackwater contractors and accusing Valerie Plame of perjury to playing a vital role in purging a U.S. attorney and committing myriad other outrages, Issa had long since guaranteed himself a particularly hot seat in Dante’s inner circle. Perrspectives has a look back at the
Top 10 Moments from Darrell Issa’s Hall of Shame

Issa's top ten list:

1. Issa Calls 9/11 Attacks in New York a Plane Crash

2. Issa Weeps Over Premature Withdrawal from Gubernatorial Race

3. Issa Attacks Families of Killed Blackwater Contractors

4. Issa Accuses Valerie Plame of Perjury

5. Issa Drives the Firing of U.S. Attorney Carol Lam

6. Issa Blames Software for White House Email Destruction

7. Issa Offers Howard (Cookie) Krongard a Ticket to the White House Christmas Party

8. Issa Forces Jerry Nadler to Withdraw Truthful Statement about Bush's Illegal Domestic Surveillance

9. Issa Defends Roger Clemens Against Steroid Allegations

10. [My personal favorite] Issa Blames His Brother for Past Brushes with the Law

In the run-up to his aborted 2003 campaign for California governor, Issa faced scrutiny over his arrests in 1972 and 1980 on auto theft charges.

Darrell Issa who lead the efforts to recall now former Gov. Gray Davis, was prosecuted in 1980 for allegedly faking the theft of his Mercedes and selling the vehicle to a car dealer! Whoever is running against Issa as Congress, I hope that person beats him. This clown doesn't deserve to be re-elected.

How low will Issa go. To use Tim Russert's name for his personal use is beyond belief. But this is what our Law Makers have become and you notice he's still in office. What a great example for young people to follow.
