I read Senator Obama's speech on Fathers as he included his own. He didn't have his Father and it was good for him to ask all men to step up and be the men they should be to their kids.
I was one of the lucky Americans who had my Father and he was my hero too. Never in my life did he not support me and had my back. I did value what I had and passed on the words and wisdom he gave to me. A teacher once asked me who was my hero without thinking I said my Father because no one was better in my life then him.
Also, happy belated Flag Day, which was June 14.
