Chavez says he will meet with next US prez.

President Hugo Chavez said Saturday he wants to work together with the next U.S. president and that Venezuela and the United States should cooperate to resolve problems including world hunger, energy shortages and climate change, the Associated Press reported Saturday.

But Chavez also warned that George W. Bush "will be much more dangerous during the last months that he has left" in the White House, and accused the outgoing U.S. president of attempting to orchestrate his assassination or spur a military rebellion in Venezuela.

"Whoever is the next president of the United States, I'd like start preparing the way to start working together," said Venezuela's socialist leader.

Maybe if the US get's Obama as President he can ask President Chavez for oil to help. It would be nice to see the US start working with countries for a change.

I am not holding my breath that McCain will have any ambition to work with other countries, just more of the same name calling and false accusations.

There is much more hope with Obama on working with foreign relations, first off you have to stop calling others terrorists, and have an open mind and meet with them, Chavez, Ahmadinejad both working with other countries, and the Gerbil adminsitration constantly accuses them of all kinds of things, ........accusations. e.g...Saddam, 9/11, Saddam WMDs...........hmmm not a good track record, ya think? that maybe? they should step back and really think about what they are making accusations about?
Yes we need change, an open mind, someone who isn't going to react and promote fear mongering/war mongering attitudes. We need a change work with people, we have all the Summits coming up at the end of Summer Early fall........will the US be at any of them? Don't anyone hold your breath. Will Iran...most likely. Will Venezuela....most likely.
