CA drivers in San Diego run to the border for cheaper gas.

From the Associated Press:

SAN DIEGO (AP) — If there's pain at the pump in the U.S., Mexico may just have a remedy. A gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in San Diego retails for an average price of $4.61 a gallon. A few miles south, in Tijuana, it's about $2.54 — even less if you pay in pesos.

More and more people appear to be taking advantage of the lower price.

Here in New Jersey the gas price is 3.91 per gallon. Now I know some people in California would be in line for that price right now. While I was in New York the price of gas was 4.87 so what's the gas in your area?

$4.87 in New York? Good grief. I wish that I can head to the borner with buckets to get gas. Looks like New York will hit 5 bucks. And I don't blame the people in San Diego to head to Mexico for gas. It's just insane.
