Audit: Pentagon Unable to Track $15 Billion Spent In Iraq --In one case, there is a copy of a $5.6 million check from the U.S. Treasury paid to an Iraqi contractor but no documents saying what was purchased. The inspector general for the Defense Department said yesterday that the Pentagon cannot account for almost $15 billion worth of goods and services ranging from trucks, bottled water and mattresses to rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns that were bought from contractors in the Iraq 'reconstruction' effort. The Pentagon did not have the proper documentation, including receipts, vouchers, signatures, invoices or other paperwork, for $7.8 billion that American and Iraqi contractors were paid for phones, folders, paint, blankets, Nissan trucks, laundry services and other items, according to a 69-page audit released to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform... Auditors referred more than two dozen vouchers, totaling $35 million, to criminal investigators at the Pentagon.
Iraqi cleric: Armed resistance against U.S.-led foreign troops permissible Iraq's most influential Shiite cleric [Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani] has been quietly issuing religious edicts declaring that armed resistance against U.S.-led foreign troops is permissible -- a potentially significant shift by a key supporter of the Washington-backed government in Baghdad. "(Al-Sistani) rejects the American presence," he told the AP, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment to media. "He believes they (the Americans) will at the end pay a heavy price for the damage they inflicted on Iraq."

Look who's got the money to spend!
The Saudi gave 5m in food aide sweet maybe they can help the US next.
Pentagon lost 15b dollars ya they did it's been pocketed by friends of followers of the White House. It's cost big bucks to keep the Propaganda Dept. going and feeding the Media with fake information. Look Chris Matthews, David Gregory, Andrea Mitchell, O'Reilly and all of Fox News need that money as pay offs for lying to the public. No money no lie.
Musk Rat is so funny he defends criminal lawyers and says nothing about the honest ones that were fired. Diane/Chuck should be proud of their choice. Now Musk Rat is pushing for the money for himself and his Deputy Dough Boy to steal before the Bush term is over. For those who forgot it's billions to stop drugs. Ya right, as the US brings the drug supply over from Afghanistan to sell for profit. Even England reported a high drug sale of cocaine from Afghanistan. Drugs is big profit and you'd be really surprised who uses it. Now yes the old wives tale of inter city drug uses but believe me I worked inside the Courts and have gone to private parties of the rich. Drugs are just as common as a glass of wine. I laughed when a Judge was arrested for smoking weed by a freshmen police officer. The Judge had been smoking weed for as so long without a problem even a air fresher was put in the courtroom and his chamber to cover up the smell. Along comes this young first year rookie who says I smell weed as everyone just looks at each other not saying a word. Before his experienced fellow Officers could get to him he had already made the call not to the State Police but to the Government. Busted and never charged. But yes the grapevine was working overtime as the knowledge of this Judge's actions was old news, but the new news was a rookie cop brought him down.
We have seen many surprises by Law Makers, Judges even Supreme Court Justices. Yes Law Makers hire prostitutes on a regular bases, look for sex in men's room and use Government computer to select kids to molest. Judges who get kicks back to fix cases, look for prostitutes while on the bench in court and use drugs during court recess. Supreme Court Justices who are closet gay, one has a mistress, one is seeing dead people and one is out right crazy. So don't be surprised if other names of Powerful Law Makers are found to be doing the same when their names hit the headlines. Believe me the things these guys have done would make Spitzer look like a saint.
