Chicago political fund raiser Tony Rezko has hired an attorney to quash his Las Vegas arrest warrant. Local attorney Richard Wright is reportedly asking the district attorney's office to drop the warrant if Rezko resumes making payments on nearly $475,000 in casino debts. But District Attorney David Roger says unless his office gets "payment in full," he'll move to extradite Rezko. That could come after Rezko's Chicago trial, where he is charged with shaking down companies for state business in exchange for contributions to the campaign of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. The governor has not been accused of any wrongdoing. A verdict in the trial could come next week.
