TGCN and Kittybowtie:
What is happening with the gas prices in your state?
Thinkprogress:
Average national gas prices have hit another record high on May 16, climbing to $3.7929 a gallon for regular gasoline. At the same time, average gas prices rose above $4 a gallon in Chicago and New York’s Long Island for the first time. Trilby Lundberg, the editor of the nationwide Lundberg survey of about 7,000 gas stations, says that gas prices “could rise to $4 a gallon on a national average basis.”

Mr. Kitty and TGCN your gas prices are higher then those out here in California. Kitty tell MaMa got get her gas in Indiana. The only question left is how high will it go before Americans say enough is enough.
Mama did get gas in Indiana when she was last there.
The extra high gas prices come from outrageous high taxes, which pay for all of the extra costs it takes to run the government.
Hey Biloxi--The Toddler ran out of his own relatives to hire. Now he is hiring the relatives of friends, at six-figure salaries.
"Hey Biloxi--The Toddler ran out of his own relatives to hire."
No way! Now he is hiring friends at a six figure income??? With what kind of money? Monopoly money?? Urkel is driving CC into bankruptcy. Not many folks are not making a six figure income.
Gas prices have been over 4 bucks a gallon for at least a couple of weeks, this is not new news, just that we are getting gouged bad over here. The CC taxes along with the city are killing us here.
Also due to the economy one in EIGHT Illinoians is on food stamps.
