Bush knew Iraq had zero to do with U.S. security. He also knew that a quick kill in Iraq would trick huge numbers of voters into thinking he had saved the USA.

Jimmy Carter has written a post on the Washington Post's "On Faith" blog entitled "Presidents Should Not be Liars."
Carter states: “I do not think the President of the United States should be a liar, and believe that the overwhelming majority of U.S. citizens agree with me. For security reasons, the whole truth cannot always be revealed, but it is quite obvious that lies are seldom made to protect our nation. Almost invariably, the political fortunes of the prevaricator are at stake.”
While Carter doesn’t mention any recent names or examples, some obviously come to mind. The most glaring, destructive and disgusting lie invented and maintained by the handlers of George W. Bush is their manifestly false insistence that the attack on and occupation of Iraq is of material importance to the security of the United States. More on the story.

Americans will have to face the real fact that Bush/Cheney got royally played by the Middle East. Proof is the oil price and the smiling faces of the Middle East Leaders. Right now the Middle East countries are some of the richest in the world and even have loaned the US Trillions of dollars. As the Saudi King said you want oil buy it. The US gets oil from Venezuela, Iran, Africa, Iraq and OPEC. Now the idiots plan was to invade Iraq steal control of their oil and attack Afghanistan and build a pipe line to steal oil. The Middle East Leaders knew they had a stupid US President and a greedy VP. So they played it cool and watched the idiots fall all over themselves. All this talk about Isreal is a front. Isreal has Nuclear Weapons given illegally to them by the US. Now the smart partners are Russia and China. Notice how Russia get what they need and sit back and watch the show. China will stand strong because anytime they need money all they have to do is call in their US loan. The White House looked at themselves the the smartest guys in the room but the players got played and now the US is in a recession soon Depression.
