CNN takes a look at John McCain’s tendency to flub lines in the middle of speeches because he has difficulty reading the teleprompter. Apparently it’s such an issue that his campaign has had to experiment with a range of alternatives.
It is perhaps unfair that McCain’s age has been a frequent target of comedians and talk show hosts, but it doesn’t help when he lives up to the stereotype.

Why can't he read the teleprompter? Does he need to wear glasses? Does he need cataract surgery? Does he have macular degeneration?

Maybe Johnny Mcflipflop needs to borrow your glasses since you said cats wears glasses. ;-)
I wouldn't lend him mines. The glasses is not what the Maverick needs. He needs to retire.
