Rep. Issa: 9/11 was ’simply’ a plane crash.

Issa is mentally gone.

Thinkprogress:

During a hearing Tuesday on an aid bill for sick New Yorkers, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) callously dismissed the 9/11 attacks as “simply” a plane crash. The New York Daily News reports:

The California congressman who called the Sept. 11 attacks “simply” a plane crash ran for cover Wednesday under a barrage of ridicule from fellow Republicans, first responders and victims’ families.

San Diego GOP Rep. Darrell Issa was under siege for suggesting the federal government had already done enough to help New York cope with “a fire” that “simply was an aircraft” hitting the World Trade Center.

Sept. 11 first responders ask Congress to reopen victim compensation fund

Valentin, 43, is one of an estimated 40,000 first responders to develop chronic health problems after working at Ground Zero, and Tuesday he asked Congress to reopen a key Sept. 11 fund to help people like him, facing thousands of dollars in medical bills.

Rep. Issa is in trouble and drinking the koolaid. He will say anything just don't talk about the crimes he committed. As most of us on the East Coast watched the second plane position it self to strike it wasn't a simple crash. Now the White House and the Saudis didn't know the WTC was made with cheap material as it was said to be able to with stand an earthquake.

Thanks for the sharing the article on a reqest to reopen the 9/11 fund. It has been 6 years since 9/11 and the victims still hasn't been given proper medical treatment. I look for the Katrina victims to ask for a fund and/or assistance since the victims are stuck repaying money back on their homes that had mortgages.
