Folks, Ron Paul never quit the race. Yes, Shagster Rudy, Grampa Fred, Huckabuck, Mr. Breck, and others bailed out. Why would he stay in the race despite McCain winning the nominee? Maybe to sway those voters tha are disgruntal about the war in Iraq not to vote for McCain. Like him or not, Ron Paul is on a mission. And that mission will be deadly to McCain's race to the Presidency...
John McCain may have the Republican nomination wrapped up, but that isn’t stopping Ron Paul from campaigning in Pennsylvania, where he is attacking McCain as insufficiently conservative. It’s an odd posture for a candidate who won much support for his anti-war position, a topic that Paul omits.
From Politico:
No, this is not a overdue April Fool's Joke.
Ben Smith just let me know that he heard a Ron Paul ad on KYW, a news station in Philly.
I thought Ben may have had a little too much wiz on his cheesesteak at first, but sure enough there is an ad.
Without mentioning McCain's name, Paul paints himself as the true conservative and draws obvious contrasts on immigration, taxes, and campaign finance reform. No mention of the issue that has drawn so many to Paul, his opposition to the Iraq war (he does say he supports "a pro-America defense policy").
Anybody want to wager what percent of the vote Paul pulls tomorrow in Penn? And, to you Paul'ites, are you doing any get out the vote stuff to supplement the ad?

What's funny is Ron Paul can remember and gets all the events of today right yet Teflon John McCain is younger and can't remember what he had for breakfast. Ron Paul will be the smoking gun for Democrats. Republicans have treated him like dirt but he is still standing tall and with millions of supporters who are waiting for him to direct them.
