McStraight Talk: ‘A lot of our problems today are psychological.’

Thinkprogress:

This week on Fox News, Neil Cavuto asked Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) about the worth of rescinding an 18-cent gas tax as prices at the pump escalate this summer. McCain responded that “a lot of our problems today” are “psychological” — even the “ability to keep our own home”:

I’m very concerned about it, Neil. And obviously the way it’s been going up is just terrible. But I think psychologically — and a lot of our problems today, as you know, are psychological — the confidence, trust, the uncertainty about our economic future, ability to keep our own home. This might give them a little psychological boost. Let’s have some straight talk, it’s not a huge amount of money.

Teflon John is mental. Who would vote for a man who thinks this recession really isn't there. ABC, CBS and Fox News are doing their best prop this idiot up but his mouth always gets him in trouble.
Now when you got to get gas and your told it's 4 dollars a gallon remember it's all in your mind it's not real.

Yes my friend Mr. Kitty well will see a 5 and 6 dollar gas cost. But remember Teflon John will drop the tax for the summer. Now Teflon John will only cut that tax when it hits the highest cost where it wont count.

Yeah, gas prices will go down just a few weeks before the November election.

Been there, done that. That will make the third time in a row.
