Checkmate!; What a difference 15 years make.

Hat tip to Huffington Post:

HuffPo has dug up a doozy from 1993 of George Stephanopoulos decrying the same vapid and petty “side issues” he and Charlie Gibson dedicated half of Wednesday’s Democratic debate talking about.

Transcript via
HuffPo:
STEPHANOPOULOS: What he’s going to do in this campaign is focus on what’s important to the American people, on the jobs and the education. That’s what the American people care about. They want to move into the future. They don’t want to be diverted by side issues, and they’re not going to let the Republican attack machine divert them.

George did what he had to do to keep his job, Charlie went to the dark side. While both told their bosses and the media they didn't have questions fed by Fox News. Here comes Hannity with his world wide report that he did feed the questions and was proud of it. Now to make matters worse someone had the tape as evidence. ABC Debate Debacle had the highest ratings and in turn lost the viewers trust. Charlie Gibson replace fair/balanced reporter the late Peter Jennings. Time for ABC to look for a replacement of Charlie Gibson.
