And now a word from our sponsor, Bob.

Crooks and Liars:
General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker’s Iraq testimony before Congress this week was a hot topic and this morning on Face The Nation, host Bob Schieffer says he doesn’t believe either party knows what will happen when we finally pull our troops out of Iraq:
“The administration believes there will be chaos if we leave Iraq, Democrats see chaos if we stay. The more I listen, the more I came to believe that neither side really knows what to do now, that we have reached a point where there are no longer any good answers. Whatever we do, there will be consequences.”

Iraq will be better off then the US when our troops leave. Right now the Iraq Leaders have millions in personal accounts in off shore savings. Iraq has an Economic Surplus of money. Cheney has been part of profit sharing of Iraq selling millions of oil secretly. Iran has partnered with the Sunnies, Shiites and Kurds. Iraq will elect a leader who works well with the rest of the Middle East Leaders and might even consider giving a loan to the US. The Middle East knew that their plan would work when the right people were put in charge of the USA. The Saudis slowly feed the idiot Bush after hearing from Daddy Bush how dumb his son is. Dick was easy as he is so greedy he's take candy from a baby. As we have seen with the 2002 meeting that all the Presidents men/woman signed on for all the corruption we're seen in the pass 7 years. I have noticed the Media is quick to spread the lies by the White House but never headline the lies. Americans never looked at the Isreal connection to all these plans. If you do you'll see why God isn't blessing America. Isreal wanted to use the US for land and control, the Saudis saw a way for the Middle East to topple the US. It's called a perfect storm and it worked. Notice how Russia and China are getting stronger. China is in the position to single handily bring down the US Economy. Americans refuse to let Dubai own the New York Ports so now Dubai has planes coming in the US on a regular bases. Dubai owns one of the biggest hotels in New York City and millions of shares in US banks and companies. Plus they have brought property and land all over America. I would say the Middle East did real good in the past 7 years and will do much better in the years of come.

Bob's right about consequences either way. We are so hated as Occupiers. We stay we continue to bleed dollars. And we threw away so many on bribes. Even today we're still bribing the Sunnis to maintain the peace. Who steps into the vacuum? The Mahdi army who promises to kill everyone now in government? The Iranians? Those huge bases we built, will take quite awhile to clear of munitions and hardware much less personnel. A year for that alone working double time.

We withdraw, we lose the oil. And we are so very dependent on it. Like addicts. Seeing the truckers stoppage protesting gas prices and the cost of oil affecting every part of the economy, I can't help but think the arrogance of the Bush administration fell right into Osama Bin Laden's plot. He wanted us in Iraq, so he could drain us financially.

Changing the dollar to the euro is another part of that strategy.

We've made ourselves Ugly untrustworthy Americans to the Russians as well, there was so much opportunity there to change things after the cold war, and we blew it. Greedy investors let those people twist in the wind.

The food crisis in places like Bangladesh, in half a dozen countries has me worried too, promoting the ethanol solution over food is making us even more enemies. I was horrified to learn that Cheney sees those desperate folks as "mouths" not people.

Unless the next administration turns it around in a very big way I shudder to think what will happen to all of us. The nation has to go after War Crimes for those who have caused them, including pre-emptive war. So much of our budget goes to the military.

We are NOT prepared for huge increases in the price of gas. We have no alternative energy or rail system fall back plan. Even at $4 a gallon people are feeling pinched. What will happen if the price of oil goes through the roof. To $5 a gallon or more? The Oil administration went to WAR for oil, broke international laws, killed 900,000 Iraqis. I shudder when I think of the future and the effects our government's actions will have for generations.
