WELCOME TO GORDA, NOW PAY $5.00 GAS!

James Willman seems to be a nice enough guy: polite, good-humored and hard-working, pumping gas seven days a week at the Amerigo Gas Station in the tiny Big Sur town of Gorda, about 35 miles north of Cambria.
But at least once a day, Willman said, someone pulls in and starts cursing him.
“They say all kinds of stuff—‘You ought to be shot,’ or ‘Where’s your mask?’ ” Willman said. “I’m like, ‘Hey, I just work here.’ ”
The reason for consumer hostility is that the station is serving up what might be the costliest gas in the land.
This week, as crude oil flirted with $110 a barrel and gasoline prices surged nationwide, a gallon of regular at Amerigo was going for $5.20.

Every time the Bush Administration asked their friends the Saudis for more oil they say no. Now for those who have followed the Foreign Press Iraq is using it's on oil and rebuilding the pipelines with US tax dollars. Yes when the work is complete with the help of Iran, Iraq as already made an oil deal with China. The reason the gas price is so high is the greed of the oil companies and the fact that front companies set up in 2000 by the Bush Business friends have now closed shop and taken their profit and left. The Carlyle Group did very well for the members and the Bin Laden Family made billions of US dollars for their part. Dubai made so much money from the US they are willing to give Citi Bank a loan.

Now the prices of gas in the US will continue to go up and Americans will do what they do best nothing but complain and blame the Democrats.
