Thinkprogress:
Attorney General Michael Mukasey “rejected referring the House’s contempt citations against two of President Bush’s top aides to a federal grand jury. Mukasey says they committed no crime.” Mukasey claimed that White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former counsel Harriet Miers “were right” to ignore Congress’s subpoenas in the U.S. attorney scandal.
UPDATE: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) outlines the next steps:
Anticipating this response from the Administration, the House has already provided authority for the Judiciary Committee to file a civil enforcement action in federal district court and the House shall do so promptly.

Chuck and Diane must be very happy they did their jobs at helping the White House continue the crime wave. Look Musk Rat was put in the job to do what he's doing and he got paid big for it. No Americans look at kick backs as the old way. The Cheney way is giving Government Contracts to people who own or are part owners of business. I know the Senate knew Musk Rat had businesses when the Bush team selected him. Now what's funny is the request would have to go to Taylor who himself is under investigation. It's like the crooks are running the DOJ. We have no Justice Department and Musk Rat will act as stupid as Gonzo just to stall. This Administration is rooted in corruption and has spread it to ever office of Government.
