Meet the four defendants in the Emperor Club probe.

1. Cecil Suwal and Mark Brener

A 23-year-old graduate of an elite prep school and a 62-year-old widower are the seemingly mismatched New Jersey couple accused of running a high-priced prostitution ring.

Neighbors of the pair often remarked that they made an odd couple given the age difference. Now the couple are more widely known for the business they allegedly ran from their high-rise apartment overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

2. Temeka Rachelle Lewis

Temeka Rachelle Lewis, 32, now of Brooklyn, attended Harrisonburg High School and her mother still lives in the city. Lewis graduated in 1993, along with her twin sister, Tosha.

Straight-Laced’

Lewis’ high school classmates and one teacher remembered her as a talented student.
Aric Bopp, who graduated with Lewis in 1993, said she was a “wonderful” and “gifted” student.
“She was very intelligent,” Bopp said. “And she was actually fairly quiet and reserved.”
Lewis also was “pretty normal” and active in clubs, said Theron Shipe, who also graduated with Lewis.
“She was straight-laced, a perfect student with no issues,” Shipe said.
Barbara Blakey taught both Temeka and Tosha in the business department at Harrisonburg High School.
She said both girls were very good students.
“They were both very friendly girls,” Blakey said, adding they got along well with classmates but were quiet.

3. Tanya Hollander and her double life

Hollander is a slender, dark-haired woman who works as a holistic health counselor

Milan Supervisor Richard Barrett said he met Hollander last fall as he campaigned door to door. Hollander was working in her garden at the time.

They chatted for about 10 minutes and she seemed pleasant enough, he said yesterday.

Hollander has a Web site dedicated to her holistic health counseling business: www.taniahollander.com. It says: "Her mission is to provide her clients with a supportive environment in which to explore new tools for healthy living and an abundance of good health."

Her website is shut down but here is Tanya's MySpace page (last login February 8).

Chicago newspaper did some digging on who is Client 10. It is not this person:

Just who is Client No. 10?

Who is the procurer of prostitutes from Chicago who is mentioned anonymously in an unsealed FBI affidavit filed by the feds detailing operations of the Emperors Club, a sex-for-hire shop that allegedly ensnared embattled New York. Gov. Eliot Spitzer?

• Answer: It's not basketball legend Michael Jordan, according to Jordan's attorney Frederick Sperling.

• To wit: In order to end rumors that unnamed Client No. 10, who requested an Emperors Club prostitute for March 4 in Chicago, may have been Jordan, Sperling tells Sneed: "I have just received confirmation from Assistant U.S. Attorney Rita Glavin in New York that our client Michael Jordan is neither a subject nor a target of this investigation."

Case closed.
