Ahmadinejad on historic Iraq trip — BAGHDAD - President Bush's last trip to Iraq was kept secret until he arrived at a U.S. military base. Eight hours later he left, after Iraq's leaders traveled to meet him there. — In sharp contrast, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit----the first ever by an Iranian leader to Iraq — was announced in advance. He plans to spend the night here, and Iranian TV will broadcast his departure ceremony live.
And I looking forward to hearing about his visit...

This really a History making moment. I hope things go well and both countries come to an agreement. As long as the US is left out things will go good. I know it is unpopular to respect and like the President of Iran if your an American citizen. I like him, I don't always agree with him but that's what I feel with most people anyway. When I emailed his website he did answer and he had nothing but respect and praise for the American people. He even suggested a book to read he thought I might like. I guess as I was raised to look at he character of a person and not their race it's a little easier for me. Being Black in American during the 50's and 60's makes you learn about how people treat others. I just always remember how I was treated and never want anyone to feel like I did. I know most people have grown out of the pass hate but if we didn't learn we might make the same mistake again.
Jackie--Those were very profound comments.
