In the race for Hastert's seat, Jim Oberweis (a.k.a. the Milkman) beat out the more irritating of the two Republicans still left in the race. For the Democrats, the knucklehead who wanted to bomb Iran got beaten by the guy who campaigned the least. Neither one of those guys had a chance.

For the two front runners for the Democrats, the scientist guy (Bill Foster) and the kid (former military intelligence guy) (John Lasche) are still too close to call officially, although it looks like Foster is ahead by a few hundred votes all together.

For the special primary for the March 5th election to fill the rest of what Hastert had left, the results are virtually the same.

The local idiots won, so Mama's taxes will be going through the roof. Some it will be going to improve the schools for kids.

Good morning Biloximan and Kittybowtie, and justice bloggers.

What an exciting race!

So, does anyone know if Missouri's delegates are done casting? Clinton and Obama are pretty much tied in that state - but there are 72 Dem delegates, and only 60 appear to have voted.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening JL Readers!

In Missouri:

Obama won.
Obama had 405,000 votes. Hillary had 395,000. Uncommitted voters were 3,000. Edwards got 16,000.

Thanks for the 411 Kittybowtie on the race for Hastert's seat. Sorry the boneheads won and mama's taxes will go up. :(

Oberweis.......he is going to keep going until he gets something. Who do you think will get Hastert's seat Kitty?

No surprises in Illinois on Obama.

McCain was in the GOP counties right before the election, that might have helped him.
