Keith Olbermann’s Special Comment on today’s Countdown was a scathing rebuke of President Bush for continuing to play the fear card, trying to scare the hell out of the American people and vowing to veto any FISA legislation that does not contain telecom amnesty.
You are a liar, Mr. Bush, and after showing some skill at it, you have ceased to even be a very good liar.
And your minions like John Boehner — your Republican congressional crash dummies who just happen to decide to walk out of Congress when a podium-full of microphones await them — they should just keep walking, out of Congress and if possible, out of the country.
For they — and you, sir — have no place in a government of the people, by the people, for the people.
The lot of you, are the symbolic descendants of the despotic middle managers of some banana republic, to whom “Freedom” is an ironic brand name, a word you reach for, when you want to get away with its opposite.
Thus, Mr. Bush, your panoramic invasion of privacy is dressed up as “protecting America.”

Well Olbermann can't be punished for his remarks as there all true and proven to be fact. We don't torture has been reported by Bush/Cheney fact we have and do torture. We don't have secret planes to fly prisoners to other countries to be tortured, fact we have and do send even innocent people to be tortured.
Gitmo prisoners are all terrorist and treated fairly. Fact most of those in Gitmo aren't terrorist but innocent men/woman/children who we have tortured/raped/killed.
Spying to used to fight terrorist. Fact spying is used for big business to see who they can take over and get bigger deal. Wall Street shows who's in the know as the Stock Market falls.
Many more lies told by the President have come to light as out right bold face lies to the American people and World Leaders.
Now in defense to Bush he's only the puppet in the set and only told what he needs to be told. Cheney is running the Economy and stealing as much of it as fast as he can. All the other appointed Idiots are just in it for the money like the new Attorney General. Notice Hastert got his stolen money from both the US Treasury and Saddam's money, as he quickly retired a very rich man.
The Good News is the real God will Judge. You come in this world with nothing and you leave it with nothing. There will be others to take what you have. I'm reminded of Howard Hughes who was one of the richest Americans even during the Depression. He lived the high life with what his Father had stolen, only to leave this world with nothing and treated let nothing.
