Speaking to reporters in Richmond, VA last night, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) attacked “anyone” who points out that he is “fine” with keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 100 or more years. “Anyone who worries about how long we’re in Iraq does not understand the military and does not understand war,” said McCain.
He then added that it is “really almost insulting to one’s intelligence” to question “how long we’re in Iraq” because he believes the current “strategy” is “succeeding.”

It is so hard to believe a Miltary guy and one that was in a horrible war could talk like this? The vast majority of Viet Naum vets, my Dad included were anti war all the way.
Now that the truth is coming out about POW McCain what he says just might not count anymore. We have War Hero's speak up and support the withdrawal of our troops even a ex President name Gerald Ford said we should have never gone. What makes McCain an expert and not others who have served longer and been in more Wars then McCain.
