President Bush drew great applause during his State of the Union address last month when he called on Congress to allow U.S. troops to transfer their unused education benefits to family members. “Our military families serve our nation, they inspire our nation, and tonight our nation honors them,” he said.
A week later, however, when Bush submitted his $3.1 trillion federal budget to Congress, he included no funding for such an initiative, which government analysts calculate could cost $1 billion to $2 billion annually.

The last section of the cartoon dipicts the media correctly, and this is sad that the media isn't as aggressive as it was during the Nixon years, now some Bimbo on a nervous breakdown makes the news each and every day, but significant things are insignificant, and come second or third or later compared to the latest Bimbo updates, depending on the number of Bimbos in the news and what events have occured that are of absolutely no significance to anyone in this country but the news wants the ratings so now this stuff takes precidence.
No out cry from the Military families or their supporters. It's funny how people would rather believe the lie and deal with the truth. We have many working hard for the Troops on all the blog sites yet this means nothing. I beginning to wonder are some of these so called supporters really working for the White House but using the soldiers.
When I get a chance to talk to the troops they put me on speaker for others to hear what's really going on hear. I email the news that involves them. Most say they don't believe the Media or even their commanders anymore. I remember one person who worked for the Military families but I later found out it was a front to keep the White House and friends informed. You really can't trust everyone or even those who say they care.
