Before former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee appeared yesterday on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, officials from the Writers Guild of America contacted his staff to “clear up any ‘confusion’” by making “it crystal clear that he was indeed crossing a picket line.” The Machinists (IAM) union, which has endorsed Huckabee, also implored him not to cross the picket line, saying “he risks losing the support his jobs and economic policies have won for him among trade unionists.”

Oh no, this is actually worse. Huckabuck claims that he never knew the writers were on strike!! Even the local Chicago news people said that this morning when they played clips of the talk shows. They said NBC had to sneak him in the back door rather than go through the front through the picketers. So, which is it:
1. Huckabuck is a colossal liar.
or
2. Huckabuck is a colossal idiot who cannot pay attention to details, like the writers' strike and the Iran NIE.
or
3. Huckabuck doesn't give a rat's ass about unions and people.
or
4. All of the above.
A joke from Hillary was on Letterman's show because he made a deal with the writers but the Democrats refused to cross the picket lines to be on Leno. Letterman brought on some striking writers from other shows to be on last night and while his people were on strike, he paid them out of his own pocket.
When in the hell did Sleeping Grandpa Ambien Thompson switch brains with Huckabuck, who seems asleep at the wheel?
