The Rezko Contraversy.

The Carpetbagger Report:

As Matt Yglesias noted today:

The essence of the matter is that there doesn’t seem to have been any quid to go with the pro quo here. Rezko tried to curry favor with politicians in order to get stuff from them, and Obama was no exception…. It’s possible that had Obama remained in the Senate and had Rezko not gotten indicted, that he would have found occasion to do some more serious favors but in the real world there’s nothing there.

So, we can all move on now? Unfortunately, no. Now there’s an apparent effort to connect Rezko to Hillary Clinton. Matt Lauer confronted the senator this morning with a picture, which appears to be from the 1990s, of Bill and Hillary Clinton standing alongside Rezko, in what was almost certainly a grip-and-grin moment.

Clinton said she didn’t remember meeting Rezko — and there’s no reason in the world to doubt her on this — but the story is nevertheless getting big play from Drudge.

This is all pretty silly.

Let's see Obama wasn't involved with Rezko he only brought a house. Hillary took a picture with Rezko long before he became a crook. Hillary worked for Wal-Mart when the company owner was alive and respected as one of the best companies in the United States.
I think the Media and Republicans are using and twisting the report to help any Republican candidate.
Sam Walton was a great boss that thought of his employees first and profit second. The Media seems to forget that every business after Walton's used his blue print to success. Wal-Mart's down fall came after Mr. Walton's death and his children started just looking for money and not taking care of the employees.

Rezko like any business person doesn't start of with success in crime he had to work hard at it. Now anyone who buys a house doesn't know the owner or if the owner will at some point become a crook.

It seems like the Illinois/Chicago media if defending Obama and attacking Hillary more. This could really mean a landslide for Obama in his home state.
