BLT:
As part of its biannual oversight sessions, the Senate Judiciary Committee has summoned Attorney General Michael Mukasey to appear at a Jan. 30 hearing.
Mukasey is expected to be grilled about his views on torture, controversial Office of Legal Counsel memos and other matters that came up during his October confirmation hearings.
Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) is also eager to ask Mukasey about the CIA tapes investigation after Mukasey asked Congress to refrain from conducting its own probes last month while the Justice Department investigates the tapes' destruction.
Mukasey's appointment was nearly derailed when he refused to say whether waterboarding — an interrogation tactic that simulates drowning — was torture.

Mr. Kitty calling Mr. Kitty.
I saw who a person is water boarded. It was on Prison Break last night. A girl got water boarded and I hope someone sends the tape to Mikie. Now the people who water boarded the girl were terrorist. Yes my little fur ball friend Mikie will allow torture if he approves water boarding. I knew some show would show it I thought it would be 24 but Prison Break got there first.
Now after watching it done I'd be dead before they put my head in the water. If we do allow water boarding we will have become just like our enemy and not better then them.
