
DOJ Launches Criminal Probe Into CIA Torture Tape Destruction
The Justice Department, which has discouraged other inquiries into the interrogation tapes, will launch a criminal investigation.
Update: Mukasey has named John Durham, a federal prosecutor in Connecticut, to oversee the case.
