Hoover Planned Mass Jailing in 1950 — A newly declassified document shows that J. Edgar Hoover, the longtime director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, had a plan to suspend habeas corpus and imprison some 12,000 Americans he suspected of disloyalty.
Troops needed for ten more years: Karzai Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai said that his [US] war-torn country will need foreign troops for at least another decade. "I believe it will take another 10 years, at least 10 years," he told German newspaper Bild when asked for how much longer the country will need German troops.
Iraq says U.S.-backed patrols can't be "third force" The Iraqi government will not tolerate U.S.-backed neighbourhood patrols turning into a "third force" alongside the army and the police, Defence Minister General Abdel Qader Jassim said on Saturday.
Cuba and Venezuela sign 14 oil agreements Visiting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and acting Cuban President Raul Castro signed agreements Saturday in the energy, mining and oil sectors, including a 170-million-dollar deal to build a new power plant.

There's that Nixon play book in action. Yes in the 50's people were jailed for no reason other then they open their mouth. Remember the japanese camps were even American born Japanese were jailed without reason. Now we see the Law Makers who were young students then do the same thing today and it will get worse. Evil is working hard in the US under the GOP. The fact that Chavez spoke the truth is now realized by most Americans. This Bush Administration is the work of the Devil and their actions show it.
