Part I of this series explored the long-term involvement of two men -- GOP consultant Bill Canary and Alabama Attorney General William Pryor -- in the events leading to the imprisonment last summer of former Alabama Democratic governor Don Siegelman.
That train of events began in 1998, when Canary managed Pryor's campaign for re-election as Alabama attorney general. Immediately afterwards, Pryor began the investigation of Siegelman that eventually led to the newly-elected governor's conviction on corruption charges in 2006.Moreo nthe story.

Of course it's necessary but the cat is out the bag so to speak. Karl Rove's finger print is all over the criminal acts and selective prosecution during the pass 7 years. Look the facts show proof that Cheney and Rove where in charge and Bush was just the puppet and still is. Mikie is just sitting in the chair as DOJ AG, Cheney is running the Department. What's sad is Mikie worked on a respectable career until he accepted the puppet job from the Bush Administration. Now he's a marked man and his once great career reputation is in the toilet. Like Judas, Mikie took the 30 pieces of silver from Satan.
