Given his recent endorsement event in New Hampshire, Joe Lieberman was bound to send out a fundraising letter on John McCain’s behalf one of these days. The donation pitch hit email boxes yesterday, with a message that’s worth considering in more detail.
I know that it is unusual for someone who is not a Republican to endorse a Republican candidate for President. And if this were an ordinary time and an ordinary election, I probably would not have done so. But this is no ordinary time….
I’d like to thank Lieberman for identifying himself as “someone who is not a Republican,” instead of using “Democrat.” I still find it annoying when news outlets put a “D” after his name.
Yes, we are confronted with quite a list of “problems,” aren’t we? Of course, as Matt Yglesias noted, “[L]eft unmentioned here is that a huge proportion of the great ‘problems that confront us’ are the direct results of the Bush/McCain/Lieberman effort to replace traditional internationalism with the daft ‘rogue state rollback’ that McCain campaigned on during the 2000 primary. There was at least a point in time when George W. Bush seemed to recognize the folly of this, but it’s always been McCain’s passion.”
I have worked closely with John for many years on many issues. I have seen John, time and again, rise above the negativism and smallness of our politics to get things done for this country we love so much.

According to Mother Jones, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT), has conducted zero “proactive investigations into Bush administration malfeasance” this year. The Committee is known as “the Senate’s version of Rep. Henry Waxman’s (D-CA) Oversight Committee in the House.”

Lickerman is working for Israel not the US. Lickerman's job is to get the US to bomb Iran and Syria for their land. He is on a mission as Israel doesn't have a country as it was allowed to live on Palestinian land in 1947. Israel has worked really hard putting people in place within the US Government to make sure they can steal land for themselves. I read of the the books the Iran President talked about. The translation was wrong as told by the US. Israel doesnt have a country as when the Jews left Germany in fear of Hitler they didn't have any place to go. So they asked the US/UK if they could be allowed to live in what was once their home land which was told in the bible. The United Nations allowed it to happen but the land never was Israels they are using the Old Testament which was re-examined by Jesus and new laws from God in the New Testament. It seems Americans haven't even read the bible. So Israel is playing on the Christian ignorance to steal land. Even Mel Gibson's movie showed that it was Israel and the Jews who had Jesus killed yet to look at the current White House Pastors that never happen.
