Inmate number 16627-424 headed for prison.

Justice League will get a farewell party to Governor Ryan tomorrow on his big day. ;-) Congrats to the fantastic Northern Illnois District prosecutors.
From Reuters:
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Former Illinois Gov. George Ryan will surrender himself to begin serving a prison term, his lawyer said on Tuesday after a Supreme Court justice turned down a bid from the Nobel Peace Prize nominee to remain free while he appeals his corruption conviction.
"He said OK ... He said he was prepared to surrender," Jim Thompson, Ryan's lawyer and himself a former Illinois governor, told reporters about the 73-year-old Ryan's reaction when he got the word.
Thompson said he would accompany Ryan to a federal prison in Oxford, Wisconsin, where he must report by sunset on Wednesday to begin serving a 6-1/2 year sentence. He did not say exactly when Ryan would travel to the prison, a minimum-security facility in rural Wisconsin.
Ryan has until 5 pm tomorrow to report to prison.

SPB, This is from people trying to figure out what happened to those two artists that killed themselves and some game ARG? that I could never understand. I dropped a link on your blog before.
I've tried emailing you but I cannot get my outlook express to work, as I'm a computer nitwit.

Please look especially the 2nd link over. Scary, evil stuff. Thank you, teak.

Ryan will have his followers as he goes to jail. I look to a short time and he will quietly leave as the press doesn't print the information. Now Ryan might put people on the black list as he retaliates against those who put put him in jail. I know the DOJ was correct with his charges but he was the first Governor to stop execution based on race. A lot of people like him even with the crimes he committed.

Teak,

My apologies for responding late. Blogger was down last night so I couldn't make a comment. IT is scary when art imitates life. More people now today have drawn their life in a reality of a game, video game, music, and so on and assume life is depicted with those elements. Very sad.
