It's sad to say Americans just give lip service and the Law Makers could care less about our troops living or dead. This is just a day off and we have men/women dying everyday yet the White House says things are going good and the lost of life really isn't that important since the numbers are down. I think one life lost is to many. But putting stickers on your car and having a flag is all these troops get. I talked to servicemen and they would like Americans to remember their in hell and want out. The troops know the Law Makers are only concerned about politics not them.

So if you really want to do something let a soldier in Iraq/Afghanistan know you remember their in a dangerous place and will fight to bring them home safe.

We also have to remember all our vets when they come home, and these vets have a lot to live with the rest of their lives, my Dad a Vietnam vet could not stand the smell of weed killer, fetilizers (he was sure he was sprayed with agent orange, quite a few time actually) .......both grandfathers WWII vets, one grandmother lost two of her brothers in WWII, but we have to remember all these vets and their families, and try not to make more veterans of wars.
