Florida politician caught soliciting gay sex in mall restroom.

A two-term City Commissioner and mayoral candidate has been caught in a gay sex sting, reports the Daytona Beach News-Journal Friday.

"It's scumbags like this that erode the quality of life that we have here," says Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood.

57-year-old Mike Shallow, also a realtor, was among nine men caught in the sting after "sexual misconduct" in the second-floor Volusia Mall Sears bathroom was reported to police. The nine are being charged with misdemeanor lewd conduct and exposure. Signals used by the suspects to attract the attention of potential partners included tapping toes, loud zipper noises, coughing and sneezing.

"It's such a sad thing," says Daytona Beach mayor Glenn Ritchey, expressing disappointment for Shallow and his family. Says personal friend Neil Harrington, "I have no indication that Mike would ever be involved in anything like that."

Now this is one of many who will be coming out because of their need. Look Vitter hired prostitutes so what's the problem these guys have needs and they will find a way to get those needs for fulled.

Are you leaning towards John Laesch? Also what are the other people in the area think of the candidatea?

The cat might go for Foster the scientist (but sent a message to one of his supporters begging him to drop the stupid biometrics idea), but *not* Stein. Maybe the kid Laesch but he needs to calm down and think before he talks. My owner talked with Stein's campaign manager for 30 minutes or so and she told him that he should listen; that was after he interrupted her 14 times (she counted). If Laesch was smart, his group would focus on getting all of the 18 to 25 year-olds registered to vote. That dude is pissed at Bush and the kids would see him as anti-establishment.

Two of the three Republican candidates are straight from hell. 1.) There is the millionaire Milkman who has tried to buy every political job (governor, senator, now this seat). The Republicans wouldn't let the Milkman replace Jeri Ryan / Seven of Nine's Pretty Boy sex freak husband when that scandal broke and instead ran carpetbagger Alan Keyes against Obama instead.

2.) Then there is some State Senator named Chris Lauzen who has spent most of the past two months protesting a Planned Parenthood clinic in a poor area where the women need basic health care. What an ass.

3.) The third Republican who doesn't have a chance but who is not from hell is a popular mayor named Kevin Burns. He won the first election with 70% of the vote and he is so popular that no one even tried to go against him in his second term. He is a tolerable/moderate Republican.

If any of the two nasty Republicans get the nomination, the cat may actually do some hard work for a Democrat.

Sounds like slim pickings with the candidates, kittybowtie. The Republican candidates sounds like duds. From the Democratic side, some have good comments but some the other comments have the eyebrow raise. Of course, you know those candidates more than I do. I trust your judgement. I am at the point of voting candidate that stand for something. So, the candidate who frisbees money to buy votes. That doesn't impress me. I'm through with talk the talk. I want to see walk the walk. Too much bullshit talking from candidates too long.

Stein was really rude to the owner. He should show respect to the owner. But, when you have two asses instead of one, Stein is one example. ;-)
