Faux Noose Sunday: Poppy Bush weeps on treatment of prisoners; Sees new generation Bushes in public office.

Crooks and Liars:

On this morning’s Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace interviewed former President George H.W. Bush at his Presidential Library in Texas. Bush defends his son’s disastrous presidency, but later in the interview as he and Wallace stood in a mock up of a tent used by U.S. soldiers during the first Gulf War, he vehemently defended his decision not to march on to Baghdad in 1991.

While watching footage of news clips from the conflict, Poppy becomes emotional when he describes what he believes to be the most lasting images from the conflict — the humane way in which the U.S. treated Iraqi prisoners.

Wallace: “The President remembered the courage and humanity of American soldiers and he grew emotional.”

Bush: “My favorite picture is a picture of American soldiers surrounding a guy whose been in a foxhole, Iraqi soldier, and the American guy says, we’re not going to harm you, we’re American soldiers.” (fights back tears)

Bush: “…See, that side of the war never got — the fact that we treated those people with respect in spite of the fact they were the enemy, it’s really good.

On a side note: Bush also said that he would like to see another generation of Bushes in public office. “I’ve got a grandson that would make a wonderfully able public servant if he ran, George P.,” said Bush. “And Pierce, Neil’s son. They have an interest in politics.”

It will be a long time for Jeb's son to clean up his act. Once a bright star of the Bushie then he assaulted his girlfriend, got drunk in public, gave his sister drugs, got caught with drugs again and then the famous DUI. True Bush Family Values in the works. Still Barbara Bush says no one in the family drinks or takes drug they all sit at the table to eat dinner together. Barbara is in la la land and wont be back anytime soon.

As for Daddy feeling sorry for the torture of prisoners that's a load of bull. He is a member of the planning committee that started this. He is doing his best to make the criminal deals as he has shares in the Dubai NY Port sale. Yes the oil stolen from Iraq has Daddy Bush's hand in it. Now what he's really crying about is that the Middle East Leaders will be giving pay back. Daddy is trying to save himself and his baby boy George from what will soon happen. It's blaming everybody for crimes and torture but himself as he will accuse others.

Jeb's daughter tried forging a prescription for OxyContin. The pharmacist who turned her in showed great courage in doing that. One has to be a bad druggie before one resorts to trying to forge a script. Even Rush didn't resort to that low level.

And what a family full of "family values", eh?
