Unemployment for the Pants Judge.

And it's about time!

From BLT:

D.C. administrative law judge Roy Pearson Jr. made headlines across the globe for his unsuccessful $54 million lawsuit against a local dry cleaner for losing a pair of his pants. Now it looks like he'll be losing his $100,000-a-year government job as well.

Citing anonymous sources, the Post reported today that the Commission on Selection and Tenure of Administrative Law Judges voted last night not to appoint Pearson to a full 10-year term. Since his initial two-year term on the bench expired in May, Pearson has been working as an attorney adviser at the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings while awaiting his fate and a ruling from the commission.
