TPM:
Fare thee well, J. Scott Jennings. The former Rove adviser is moving on to greener pastures: Peritus Public Relations in Louisville, Kentucky. (Politico)
A special assistant to President Bush, Jennings also served as a deputy to senior adviser Karl Rove for personnel and political affairs. He served as a liaison for members of Congress, state and local officials, and business, political and community leaders nationwide.
Jennings’ first job at the White House was as a political affairs liaison for 11 Southern states, including Kentucky and Tennessee, where Peritus will open a new office next month.
In his new position, Jennings will focus on expanding the firm’s national client base.
“Scott is a high-impact adviser who will bring immediate value to every one of our clients because of his experience, his knowledge and his energy,” said Timothy Mulloy, CEO of Peritus Public Relations.
On a side note: Jennings was involved and testified in the HJC hearings for the USA firing scandal.
