Congrats to Al Gore!!!!

Drink up George!
From Thinkprogress:
Early this morning, former Vice President Al Gore and the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change were named co-winners of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Friday “for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change.” Read the press release from the Nobel Foundation here. Al Gore issued this statement shortly after being named the winner:

I am deeply honored to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. This award is even more meaningful because I have the honor of sharing it with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change–the world’s pre-eminent scientific body devoted to improving our understanding of the climate crisis–a group whose members have worked tirelessly and selflessly for many years. We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue, it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity. It is also our greatest opportunity to lift global consciousness to a higher level.
My wife, Tipper, and I will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of the award to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a bipartisan non-profit organization that is devoted to changing public opinion in the U.S. and around the world about the urgency of solving the climate crisis.
Meanwhile...
Reacting to the Nobel Peace Prize announcement, White House spokesman Tony Fratto said: “Of course we’re happy for Vice President Gore and the IPCC for receiving this recognition.”

UPDATE: The IPCC is led by its chairman Dr. Rajendra Pachauri. “
I was not expecting any awards for my efforts. I feel privileged to share it with Al Gore,” Pachauri said. “I am only a symbolic recipient but it is the organization which has been awarded.” Earlier this summer, ThinkProgress conducted an interview with Dr. Pachauri. Read and listen to it here.
And the Clown sent his spokeman Frodo to make a statement about Gore! LOL!

This is a lesson in true Leadership and faith. Al got robbed and Bush stole the election, it's been proven a fact.
Al as a true leader looked for what he could do to help. Bush started stealing, torture, illegal invasion and lying.
As the GOP and White House used God's name while doing Satan works we now see the results.

Al has gotten every award possible for this hard work for man kind without turning to anger by the Presidency.

Bush got his wish from Satan and became President. But the end results is his legacy of disgrace as the worse President the United States ever had.

Just think of how the people picked a loser while they had the chance to pick and strong honest Leader but didn't. Let's hope we don't repeat the same mistake again. How proud Americans must be to see an American President and now Vice President who have won the Nobel Peace Prize and both were Democrats none were Republicans.

I saw our other Peace Prize winner, Pres. Carter on CNN. He really kicked some Sudan bad guy butt.

Good for the both of them.
