Columbia's Long History Of Dictator-Loving,

Wonderfully enough, on the very same day Columbia president Lee Bollinger was castigating Ahmadenijad, the dictator of Turkmenistan was speaking elsewhere at Columbia. Yet Bollinger didn't seem upset about this at all. Huh.

Meanwhile, it turns out Columbia gave the Shah an honorary degree in 1955, just two years after the US overthrew Iran's democratically-elected government and installed him in power. Louis Proyect has the details on this (with pictures!) as well as on other proud episodes of Columbia's coziness with dictators.

And I guess Bollinger decided who he can pick and choose who is a "dictator" or not. What hypocrisy!

Good to see the dumbing down of the Colleges as the all child left behind is working really well. With our Colleges students being lied to by the Colleges it will be much easier for countries to invade the US. Look at the National Debt thanks to a dumb loser name Bush who failed at every business his Daddy gave him then took down the US Treasury in true idiot fashion.

Bollinger's days as have to be numbered, but he can always get some type of position working for Faux noose, he could be on Falafels guys staff, or frequent guest with Hannity.
