Nice thought but let's get 2008 first. Hillary is getting more support from the GOP then the GOP candidates. McCain should be careful talking about his experience as a POW when he supported Bush's bill on torture.

Hope everyone in California will be OK.

What a disaster. I hope people understand that fire is the worst thing that can happen to a house.

Well, we have Hastert for another year or so. In comparison to the political circus that would have happened had he stepped down early, that's OK. He has lame duck power now.

I thought there was going to be a special election.

Yes, kittybowtie, it is trgaic of what is happening in parts of California. It is amazing that Gerbil is coming to that state tomorrow so quickly but he didn't give that respect for the Katrina victims.

Of course not. They keep repeating that they learned things from Katrina. Sure, they learned black poor people lived in New Orleans and rich white people live in Malibu.

P.S. I'm already sick of the TV showing rich white people who act like they don't care their house burned compared to the screaming black people who lost everything they had in Katrina. Sure, that's only because the rich people think the insurance will pay for everything.

I dare those journalists to re-visit the rich people when the insurance companies try to screw them.
